     ECR provided an implementation manager who spent the first few days on site at the College to monitor progress and deal with any teething problems as they arose. In the event, the installation ran very smoothly.

Croydon College, which offers a broad spectrum of Further Education courses from art and design to the world development, is one of a growing number of colleges using EPOS to help it manage its financial transactions. A recent upgrade to incorporate chip-and-pin and touch screen technology, ensures greater security and accuracy, and helps the College to meet its obligations to the students and the banks.

Three years ago, Croydon College was using basic "stand alone" tills and had no facility to create reports or integrate with other systems such as accounts or student records. With around 11,000 students passing through it’s doors every year, the College had a major requirement for a solution that could not only handle the receipts, but also provide accurate daily reports that would feed into its existing accounts software.
